Bone Morphogenetic Protein

Bone morphogenic protein 2 (rhBMP-2) 
Bone Morphogenetic Protein (BMP) is naturally found in our bodies and helps with bone formation. Dr. Reuter, Dr. Roemer and Dr. Middleton are  trained to use BMP (rhBMP-2) to recruit the patient’s own stem cells for producing new bone. For some indications, BMP has the advantage in that it does not require an additional surgical procedure to harvest bone from the patient.
